Fan of Fans

I cannot sleep when it’s quiet.

At home that means a box fan is running in our bedroom.  But traveling with the fan is a pain – obviously I can’t fly with it and it takes up a bunch of space when we drive.   At some hotels I can get the fan in their heating/cooling unit to run constantly for the white noise, but others it’s not an option.

So I bought a dedicated white noise sound machine to travel with.  Mine is a Lectrofan (10 different fan noises!). The speaker makes it sound like a real fan, which helps cover over any random noises that happen in hotels.

It tucks in among my packing cubes and goes with me on every trip.

Now if I can just figure out a way to fit my pillow in a carry-on….
