Trying Something New
I don’t like hummus.
Or I guess more accurately – I didn’t think I would like hummus so I wouldn’t eat it.
No, I am not a toddler.
But on a recent trip to Vermont my wife and I ate at a Turkish place that was amazing and pretty far away from a place I would typically pick. The appetizer was a plate of hummus, baba ghanoush and Turkish salsa. It was all great.
That’s what is great about traveling – the opportunity to not only not work, but to get out of our routines and try stuff we won’t do at home.
Like hummus made by a Turkish chef. (And Betyi Kebabs!)
So on your next adventure, give some hummus a try. Or whatever is outside your normal. You may just find something you really like.
